To this add engaging choreography and brilliant attire, drawing spectators into the performances. The magnificent performances can hardly be accomplished without cooperative effort and mentoring among partners.

  2. Men's Pair (two males),

  3. Mixed Pair (a male base and a female top)

  4. Women's Trio (three females)

  5. Men's Group (four males).

As well as this, there can be mixed groups (either 3 or 4 people from both genders).

These events are choreographed to music and consist of dance, tumbling, and partner skills. Each pair or group performs dynamic, or flight skills, and balance skills. In addition to skills, athletes are expected to show confidence, grace, and unity on the competition floor. Throughout their performance, athletes are given the chance to show where hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude can lead.

Competitive teams in acrogymnastics are formed by athletes who have developed the necessary skills and are committed to training and competing at various levels, from local to national and even international competitions. The team members must work together closely to execute complex routines that demonstrate their abilities to the judges.

AcroGymnastics  Pre-Team

Our Pre-Team is a great way for kids to be introduced to AcroGymnastics. Participants learn elementary acrobatic and dance skills which are then put into a choreographed routine to music. Over the Pre-Team AcroGymnastics session (12 to 14 weeks) athletes will work on learning and perfecting basic partner and individual skills. Athletes will learn an individual, pair, and/or group routine to be completed at a final in-house competition.  This gives the athletes a chance to gain performance and competition experience.  Individual pair/group routines will be performed in front of judges, receive a score, and be awarded a participation medal. Individual awards are also presented to athletes at this event to recognize some special accomplishments over the course of the entire Pre-Team session.  This program is an excellent way for athletes to belong to a team, enjoy learning basic AcroGymnastics skills in a session format, and gain personal confidence without having to fully commit to a full year of AcroGymnastics.
